Alright, I'll finally get down to writing about my trip.
30 Dec;
Airport at 12 plus. Flight left at 1 plus, 2, I think..reached there at 3 plus, Thai time. Oh man, the Cathay Pacific food was good man. Rocks. Met the tour guide, we were brought to the hotel. It's called Anorma Hotel, right in the heart of Bangkok. Not bad a hotel. Nice & clean. Ok, we walked around after that, had dinner at the roadside stall...food was good, but the hygiene is really a whole different issue lah. After that, we went for the Cabaret Show!! In case you don't know, it's a one hour show, where all then transvestites perform...it was quite good. But all the songs they sing and all, all recordings lah. Tell you why later. Ok. So, when you see them from far, they actually look quite good. And their bodies are really flawless man. But when you go near ah, you'll be like, "Eee!" They're so freakin' ugly close up. Oh, there was one really pretty one. I had to pay 40 baht to take a photo with her. -_- Here it is.
Haha. She's so chio right. I mean, He. How ah?? I lose to him leh! Sian. Oh! So when everyone went down to take photos, they were making lots of noise. And all the trans were talking in super low voices!! Ew.Ok, after that we went back to the hotel...went back downstairs again to shop some more. EVERYTHING is so cheap there please. Will record down my purchases later.
Thing I noticed:
Road was very bumpy.
31 Dec;
Went to the Floating Market...actually it was more or less just a boat ride. But fun, nonetheless. Oh man I think my tour guide is such a flirt! I caught him in action ok! He's the one at the end talking to the lady in blue. Can't see his face though.
HAHAHA. Oh yeah we visited a temple on the way too.Went to the gem factory next (my dad, sis and I though it was jam factory until we reached there!!) It was ok, just that the things they were selling were super ex. Ok, after that...SHOPPING! Yay. Went to MBK centre, Siam Centre, Siam Square (which is like their Bugis Village) and Siam Paragon. Lunch at MBK was GREAT. Everything we ordered was so extremely delicious..see lah, I feel like eating now!! Bah. Ok, after all this shopping, we went back to the hotel...then went to the dept store next door (sort of like their Giant, it's called the Big C) and bought snacks to eat...aka, instant noodles, prawn crackers etc. We were intending to have a night feast for the last moments of 2005. So we had our feast and watched I, Robot on Star Movies, which they have there..in the end, got too sleepy and we all didn't welcome 2006 into our lives. Haha.
Thing I noticed:

Woke up at 8 plus...this was a TOTAL, total, shopping day ok. Walked around Pratunam, then cabbed down to Chaktuchak (it's a must to go there, it seems)...the shops there never seemed to end. The row of shops there just kept on getting longer and longer. So in the end we got sian and left...on the Mrt. My dad kept insisting on trying it. -_- After we reached our destination (which was near our hotel), my mum went to all the branded shops to shop..my sis wanted to tag along, so my dad and I just slacked around in the cafe there. I finished Narnia book 3, The Horse and His Boy there.
Rested at the hotel after the shopping, watched Simpsons!! Haha.
Went down to Isetan to shop MORE (thanks to my mum), then had the roadside dinner again. Walked around the pasar malams again. Bought more cheap cheap stuffs. Yay. Heh.
2 Jan;
Woke up from a weird dream about the Os...sheesh. Anyway, had breakfast and all, then packed up and checked out, then Home Sweet Home. :) Was so happy to see Pepper again!! :)))
My Purchases (in order):
3 pairs of earrings 50b = $2
fake Burberry magic wallet 80b = do the math

2 skirts 380b = about $14
souvenir bookmarks for friends -- (haven't settled this with my sis yet)
fake Adidas shirt 180b = $7 something
Chelsea Lampard jersey 200b = $8
Jiahui's England jersey 200b = $8
5 belts( 2 for friends) 250b = about $10

earrings for friends (6 pairs) 100b = $4

Vespa shirt for Liz -- (I'm not telling you!)
Yeah, that's about it. With all these I spent a little over $100. Cool huh.
